Vacation Bible School - June 3 - 7, 2013

Come join in the SonWest Roundup Vacation Bible School! The roundup is open to all children entering Pre-K through Grade 4 in the 2013 - 2014 school year. The fun begins at 9:00 a.m. and wraps up at 11:30 a.m. each day. For additional information please contact Kathy at 913-533-2462, ext. 104 or by e-mail at kobryan@qhrwea.org. Enrollment forms will be available May 12th.

Have Some Fun & Share Your Faith!

Would you like to help children learn about the Catholic faith? This summer, we are offering Vacation Bible School to children entering Pre-K through 4th Grade in the coming school year. This is an excellent opportunity to have some fun and share the Catholic Faith. Adult and youth volunteer opportunities include:

Leading class groups..Organizing activity centers...Helping with skits...
Making snacks...Taking pictures...Help with crafts...Lead singing...
Provide child care in the nursery...Help in classes...and much more...

Living the Virtues In the Family

Award-winning author and EWTN host Donna-Marie Cooper
O'Boyle will speak on "Living the Virtues in the Family:
Guided by Mother Teresa". Donna-Marie will draw upon her
decade-long friendship with this modern-day saint in
providing practical wisdom and inspiration for today's
families.

This event will be held at Prince of Peace Church, 16000 W
143rd St Olathe, KS, at 7:00 p.m. There is no charge for
this event, however, free-will offerings will be accepted.
Donna-Marie's books, DVDs, and CDs will be on sale
following her presentation. Babysitting will be provided.
