What is Stewardship?

"Celebrating Our Gifts"

Stewardship is a beautiful expression of our love of God. It is a way of life whereby we, as disciples, recognize that a person is not an absolute master of his/her own gifts. As stewards, we are caretakers of all God's gifts. All we have and all we are comes from God, and as a way to thank Him for His blessings, we return to God, a portion of the time and treasure allotted to us. In Paul's second letter to the Corinthians we hear the words "You are being enriched in every way for all generosity, which through us....supplies the needs of the holy ones but is also overflowing in many acts of thanksgiving to God."

The Stewardship Drive is our opportunity to Celebrate Our Gifts that God has bestowed on our parish family and to recommit ourselves to share with others what we have been given through our donation of time, talent and treasure. I ask you to read, reflect, and commit yourselves in various ways to share your blessings with others. This process will help us deepen our faith and forever change our lives for the better. Jesus tells us through the gospel of Matthew, "Your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Heavenly Father." (Matthew 5:16) Your good works will allow God to touch others through you. Let your light shine through your good works so that together, we can celebrate the blessings of the God who loves us.

Please take the time to print out the different Stewardship forms below and mail to the Parish Office. The forms are in Adobe format, you can download the free Adobe reader here. If you need the forms in a different format, you can email Tina Walker to have the form forwarded to you.
